Once a designer start to look for patterns, they start noticing them everywhere. The world is made of patterns, patterns on top of patterns, patterns hidden by patterns, patterns within patterns. We are wired to see patterns. What we call random are just patterns we can't decipher.
Design is an opportunity to continue telling the story, not just to sum everything up
You don't have to be 'a creative' to be creative
While everything around us is designed, it's just that few things are designed well
Much too often, our minds are used to somewhat efficiently excuse and justify old patterns, when the same energy and efforts could go towards the creating of new ones.

Our minds are wired by nature to detect patterns. We form a mental map, and then that shape, shapes us. The patterns we perceive are determined by the stories we want to believe. But creativity involves breaking out of established patterns.
